Google Chat allows you to send free SMS to Cell Phones for free. Instead of spending quite a fortune on Bulk SMS all you need is a Gmail account (email account). After opening the account follow the following steps:
1. Click the gear Icon
2. Select the LABS TAB
3. Scroll down until you see text messaging (SMS) in chat, select enable and save changes.
The following are supported mobile operators in Nigeria.
1. Airtel
2. Globacom
3. MTN
4. Etisalat
5. Starcom
6. Visafone
